The horse show is a big challenge for horses and riders. The thick stone wall requires their full concentration. But the big water jump is also challenging: many horses have actually shied out of the glittering water. By contrast, what helps make the jumps made from poles and planks of wood so daunting to the riders is the level. The cyclists have to stay relaxed and not knock some of the poles off – and, of course, they need to be faster compared to other competitors. This course can be rearranged in plenty of other ways with the numerous hurdles, flags, woods and markings.
